Introduction

On thursday 7th of february room 8 was excited to go in room 6 and listen how to make kite. Making kite is all about  having fun with other kids.

Firstly, room 8 was very excited to go in room 6 and learn how to make a kite making kite is really fun. Listening is really important because if you listen you will know what you are doing.

Secondly, Ms Tafea cut the paper into a diamond  shape  because diamond has 4 side so me and my buddy jordan was decorating our kite. My kite was blue because we had to draw anything on our  kite I wrote my family's name on the kite.

At last we got to fly the kites and it was so fun. And Ms Tafea  but the strings on the kite and it was so fun flying them.

Slow and steady wins the race

Firstly. The rabbit was having a little snack then he was walking and he saw the tortoise and he said man you are so slow . How can you beat another animals if you are so slow  however the tortoise said I’ll accept your challenge said the tortoise .

Secondly. Then the tortoise met the (lapiti) rabbit and they wear at the starting line and all the animals was there to watch the race . Boom the race started and the (lapiti) rabbit zoomed of and the (laumei) tortoise was taking his time.

Later on.  However the rabbit was so tied  he thought that he was so ahead of the tortoise  so he laid beside a tree and sleeped. And the tortoise was walking and he look in his direction and keeped on walking.

Finally.  The rabbit woke up from his nap and looked anxious so he sprinted to see if the tortoise is almost at the finish line  but the tortoise was 1 meter away from the finish line .  But the rabbit was too late the (laumei)  oreddy  won so the rabbit was sad and the tortoise was sad.  The end

Making the yummy otai and pani keke.

Last week room 8 was so excited hear that we got to make a Tongan drink and food. I did not know the drink until we  got down stairs. These are the recipe milk, green apple, ice, crushed pineapple and mango pulp.

Firstly, room 8 went down in the  baking room and work as a team to make otai . First some girls in room 8 put the ice carefully in the white, big container. Then we add three boxes of dairy milk. After we put the milk in the container some boys peeled the green apple with the peeler.

Finally, we had to tip the crushed pineapple and the mango pulp. Then we mixed the ingredient together and add some brown sugar. We stirred it well with a big spoon after that we put in the fridge left in there until the keke was done.

At last Ms  Tafea made the amazing pani keke and everyone got to enjoy the pani keke and the otai. It was yummy.

My sgraffito has the man who used to transport the plants from Panmure to Pakuranga .
The sgraffito has the Tamaki River. The Tamaki River has some wonderful and delicious fish.
After that Ms Bracey told us to take a photo of us with the Panmure Bridge, that we created
